We provide Free Shipping on any online orders greater than $89 (before tax). We use Canada Post Expedited Service as our delivering provider, hence any product that exceeds Canada Post weight and/or dimensions (for example: furniture) does not qualify for Free Shipping. This offer does not apply to customers located in the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and the Maritime provinces. Also excluded from Free Shipping are clearance items, promotional items, and gift certificates.
We also provide White Glove Delivery (see below) of Furniture to all Greater Vancouver customers. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding these two free services.
It is our goal to make buying online easy, convenient, and most of all safe. So, when you buy merchandise from us over the internet, you will be asked to go through to checkout. Here is how the checkout works.
Please note that the prices quoted on this website are estimates subject to adjustment by Crocodile Baby Store. The prices as shown on this website come from our inventory system at the Crocodile Baby Kitsilano retail store. The prices displayed at the Kitsilano store are the actual prices of all online items. The online system is updated through daily computer manipulation therefore errors may inadvertently occur. Crocodile reserves the right to change prices, taxes, shipping, etc., up until the moment the customer's card is charged.
Purchasing items online
To purchase an item online, first click on the desired item, this will open the detailed product page. Products that feature multiple colours or patterns will display small icons for each style. From these icons select the colour, style, and quantity of the item you wish to purchase. Then press "Add to Cart". A message will appear that the item has been added to your cart. To view your item click "View All". You can continue shopping and adding items to your cart in this manner. Note that at the top right hand corner of any page there is a dropdown menu, "My Cart", that displays a tally of the total amount in your cart. Click "View All" or "Proceed to Checkout" to make changes to your cart items. Once you have added all your items click "Proceed to Checkout" listed under the "My Cart" dropdown menu located at the top, right corner of the page. This will take you to the one page checkout.
If you have already set up an online account with Crocodile Baby Store, please log into your account before proceeding with the checkout process.
Step 1: Enter your billing information into the designated form fields. If you would like to create an account with us, select the "Create account for later use" checkbox. When you create an account with Crocodile Baby Store, you can keep track on the status of your order, view previous orders, and, if you are expecting, you can create a gift registry with us. Select your method of shipping - Ship to this address, Ship to different address, Store Pickup.
Step 2: The options that appear in Step 2 are different for each shipping method.
- Ship to this address: You will be prompted to choose from two different shipping charges by Canada Post - Regular Delivery or Expedited Delivery. Please select the type of shipping you would like.
- Ship to different address: Scroll down the page to the Step 2: Shipping Address section and fill in the necessary shipping information.
- Store Pickup: Choose the location where you would like to pick up your order - Surrey, Yaletown, North Vancouver or Vancouver (Kitsilano). Select who will pick up the order - Purchaser, Baby Registrant, Don't Know Yet or Other.
Step 3: This section appears differently depending on what shipping method you choose.
- Ship to this address: Step 3 is where you choose your Payment Method (scroll down to read more about Payment Method).
- Ship to different address: You will be presented with four shipping options via Canada Post - Regular, Expedited, Xpresspost or Priority. Please select a delivery method from the four options.
- Store Pickup: Step 3 is where you choose your Payment Method (scroll down to read more about Payment Method).
Payment Options: You may choose between paying with a credit card or using PayPal. We accept both Visa and Mastercard. Select your method of payment and follow the directions based on the method you choose. When you use a credit card for orders of $100 or more, a *Verified by Visa credit card authentication prompt will appear (in a different window) after you place your order.
*We use Verified by Visa as an extra security measure to protect our customers' credit card information and deter fraudulent activity. If you do not have a Verified by Visa password, you can set it up with your credit card company at any time, online or over the phone or through the Verified by Visa Prompt that appears when you place your order. You will need this password to finalize your order.
Review your order: Take a moment to review your order and add any additional comments to the "Comments" field.
If you are satisfied with the order, read over our Terms and Conditions and click the check box before you place your order. You can also sign up to our newsletter by clicking the applicable check box. Now, click the "Place Order" button. If your order is $100 or more the Verified by Visa window will open and you will be prompted to re-enter your credit card information, along with your Verified by Visa password. Your credit card information will be authenticated by Verified by Visa and your order will be submitted if the information provided matches. If you order is below $100, your order will be submitted.
Your card has not been charged yet. You will receive an automatic e-mail confirmation that your order has been placed. Once your order is accepted by our system you will receive another e-mail that your order has been accepted. Now your card has been charged.
If there is any problem with your order you will receive an e-mail from our website management department detailing any problems that may have occurred. *Please note that when your online order has been processed and we have accepted payment, you are only qualified for store credit or exchange on items that you would like to bring back or if you cancel your order. The same policy applies to phone purchases.*
Purchasing items from a registry
To purchase a gift from a friend's registry first find their online registry. At the top right corner of all pages click on "Registry" enter your friend's registry number (if known) or first or last name. Click "Search". A few option may show up, click on your friend's name. You can now browse their registry.
Click on the image of the items to see detailed descriptions of your friend's choices. If you would like to purchase directly from the product page, click the "Add to Cart -from Registry" button. If the "Add to Cart" button appears on the product page, go back to your friend's registry list and purchase directly from this list by pressing "Add to Cart" listed to the right of the product you would like to purchase. A message will appear that the item has been added to your cart. It is important to purchase the item off of your friend's registry page or when the "Add to Cart - from Registry" appears on the product page. If you purchase from a product page that only has an "Add to Cart" button listed, the item will not indicate that the purchase is from a registry.
To view your item click "View Cart". You can continue shopping and adding items from your friend's registry in this manner. Note that at the top right hand corner of any page there is a dropdown menu called "My Cart" that displays a tally of the total amount in your cart. Click "View All" to make changes to your cart items and select our Gift Wrap By Donation option. Once you have added all your items click "Proceed to Checkout" button located at the bottom right of the "View All" page. This will take you to the one page checkout.
Now follow the checkout instructions listed above. The items will be removed from the registry as soon as the order is processed.Phone Purchases

With our Verified by Visa system, we can accept international Visa and Mastercard credit cards. You must have a Verified by Visa password for orders of $100 or more, otherwise your order will not be submitted successfully. We must verify this information to protect ourselves and our customers from fraudulent purchases. What is a Special Order?
Any item that is not a regular stock item is a special order. These mostly include furniture, cribs, gliders, or unique colours of strollers. These items must be paid for in full prior to ordering. Once the items have been paid and ordered, they belong to you and cannot be returned. You will be informed of the estimated order time for your items prior to completing the special order. As soon as the order arrives in store you will be contacted.
Using Store Credit online
To use your store credit online, simply write in the "Comments" section of your order that you have a store credit you would like to use. You must provide the store credit holder's name as the billing contact. Complete the regular online ordering process and provide your credit card information. Your card will only be charged if there is a remaining balance after we have used your store credit.Or, give us a call at 604-742-CROC(2762).
My item is out of stock
If you have selected an item that is listed as backordered on the "View All" or Checkout page that means the item is currently out of and it is not available for immediate shipping. However, all items on our website, unless discontinued, can be ordered. Please place your item and we will order it in for you. Our web management department will contact you prior to charging your card to provide you with an ETA for your order.
