Nurseryworks offers a fresh formula for the staples of baby and children's room furniture. Conceived in collaboration with lawson-fenning, the note Los Angeles-based design firm, the line exemplifies the craft aesthetic and durability of classic mid-century American and Scandinavian modern designs. Based on the principles of flexible and interchangeable componentry, each design consists of basic elements that combine to provide unprecedented customization in everything from crib to storage to rocker. Handcrafted of three types of wood: pine, ash, and Paulownia with low-VOC lacquer and/or stained finishes, these stylishly simple pieces meet or exceed all industry safety standards, and can grow up happily into grown-up decor.

 

This fully upholstered rocker sits on exposed wood base finished in a laquer colour or light or dark stained pine. Available fabrics are Cotton Canvas in Alabaster, Brick, Lemon and Poppy. Wool Felt in Sky and Watermelon; Microsuede in Copper, Ecru, Lamb, Mocha, Slate. Prices vary. Fabrics are water resistant, stain resistant and ati-static.
